Daily Report

November 03 2020

On Monday we had very high winds along with our first snowfall of the season. Here at the shop it was no major accumulation, just enough to make the ground white, but they did get several inches up on the Tughill in Redfield. The colder weather has pushed thru and for the remainder of the week and upcoming weekend mild and dry conditions are in the forecast. Anglers having the most success have been putting in the time and covering lots of water. Anglers have had success with a variety of different techniques, dead drifting, swinging, indicator fishing, bottom bouncing or float fishing has all produced results. In the lower end of the river anglers have got into steelhead in the DSR, Staircase/Longbridge, Ballpark, 81 Hole, Papermill and RT 2A.  In the mid to upper end of the river anglers have been getting into some steelhead in the Sportsman Pool, Pineville, Trestle Pool, Bovines, Ellis Cove, Schoolhouse Pool, Upper & Lower Fly Fishing Area.
