Over the weekend we had really cold weather with the temperature dipping below zero at night and struggling to reach into the teens during the day. With the really cold temperatures slush ice has been a factor in the lower end of the river over the last couple of days. The good news is that the temperature is expected to improve as we head through the upcoming week. We didn't speak with many anglers over the weekend who fished, but the few we did reported having some action in the upper end of the river mostly in Altmar, other anglers stopping into the shop were stocking up on fly tying materials.
