At this point were at the end of the season and the best chance of still getting into a steelhead would be in the lower end of the river around the Town Pool, Longbridge, Black Hole and DSR. Now that the water level has come back down, over the last couple of days the smallmouth bass fishing has been very productive.

Beadhead rubber leg buggers in brown, olive, natural, size 4. Conehead bunny muddlers in black, olive, white, brown, size 4. Beadhead woolly buggers in black, olive, purple, white, size 4. Egg sucking leeches in purple or black size 4.

EGG PATTERNS: Steak-n-eggs in orange, pink, size 10. Steelie omelet in chart, cerise, peach, size 10. Estaz eggs in chart, pink, blue, orange, white, purple, size 10. Glo-bugs in pink, blue, oregon cheese, red, orange, size 10. Sucker spawn in cream, white, chart, pink, blue, orange, size 8.

NYMPHS: Brown rubber leg stone in size 6. Beadhead golden stone in size 4. Kaufman's black stone in size 4. Rubber leg golden stone in size 6. Ugly bug in black size 4. Black stone fly nymph in size 4.
