Daily Report

On Friday we had steady traffic through the shop with anglers arriving for the holiday weekend. The anglers we spoke with who fished the DSR did report seeing and landing some kings but said the numbers were not as good as the previous day. Other anglers stopping into the shop reported landing some kings in the Ballpark, Town Pool area, Staircase/Longbridge and Black Hole. Nothing major yet, but were off to a good start. With the great weather and increased flow the few anglers who were around were glad they had a chance to get on the water. 

Yesterday the action in the lake slowed up, it was windy so it was a liitle rough and the temperature came up. The boats were fishing closer to shore in roughly 30 - 60 feet of water. The boats are getting into a mix of kings and cohos. Some really nice size cohos are being caught and based on pictures they've been rainging 12-15lbs, those are going to be a blast on a fly rod once they hit the river.
