Daily Report

October 09 2021

Friday was another warm and sunny day with the temperature reaching into the mid 70's. The fishing pressure increased as anglers arrived for the holiday weekend which is normal for this time of year. We got mixed reports from anglers depending on where they fished, some anglers had a good day, while others had a slow day.  Anglers who fished the lower end of the river reported getting into mostly kings along with a few cohos. If your willing to walk and looking for some solitude the mid section of river would be a good choice.  Anglers that we spoke with who fished the Upper & Lower Fly Fishing Areas reported getting into a mix of kings and cohos. Black, olive and brown woolly buggers along with rubber legged stones produced the best results.

The motel dates have been changing by the phone call and were trying to keep them updated. Just because you don't see the date listed your looking for, keep in mind that the person who literally called right before you did could of been making a change. When in doubt it's always best to call just to see if anything opened up or ask to be on a waiting list for a specific set of dates.
