Daily Report
October 28 2021
On Wednesday we had mostly sunny and dry conditions with the temperature reaching into the mid 50's. Last night we had a frost, but with plenty of sunshine in the forecast the temperature is expected to reach near 60 degrees today. Yesterday the few anglers we spoke with who fished the lower end of the river reported getting into some steelhead. Anglers who fished the upper end of the river reported getting into some salmon between Altmar and Pineville as well as the Upper & Lower Fly Fishing Area. The river is fishable and anglers are fishing, but if your not comfortable with this water level, some of the smaller local tributaries is another option.
