On Tuesday we had steady rain throughout the day, so it's no surprise that with the recent rain the dam release has been increased. Anglers reported that the lower end of the river was running off color and that the best visibility and least amount of runoff was in the upper end of the river in Altmar. Dry weather conditions are expected for today and Thursday. The majority of anglers stopping into the shop this morning said they were heading to the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville.
