Daily Report
October 23 2021
On Friday we had cloudy conditions with drizzle throughout the day and the temperature reached into the low 50's. The anglers we spoke with who fished the DSR reported having a good day while getting into mostly steelhead. The mid to upper end of the river is holding the most salmon and would be a good choice if your looking for salmon. What salmon we have are currently spawning in and around the gravel areas of the river. Over the last couple of days anglers who fished the Upper & Lower Fly Fishing Areas have reported getting into a mix of kings, cohos and a few trout. Some of the smaller local tributaries have also produced steady action over the past several days.
