Daily Report
November 10 2021
Over the last several days the weather has been really nice with warm, dry and sunny conditions with well above average temperatures for this time of year. On Tuesday conditions were no different with plenty of sunshine and the temperature reached into the upper 50's. The forecast for the upcoming weekend does call for some colder weather along with wet conditions. Yesterday the anglers we spoke with who fished the DSR reported working hard for the fish they got and said covering lots of water was helpful. Elsewhere around the river we got mixed reports from anglers, some anglers got into fish, while others did not. The upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville has been getting the most fishing pressure on a daily basis, but some anglers have been having success. If your willing to walk and looking for some solitude the mid section of river would be a good choice. Anglers who are fly fishing have been having the most success indicator fishing with egg patterns or dead drifting with nymphs and streamers.
