Over the last couple of days we've had some wet weather conditions and it's no surprise with the increased water level. Anglers who made the trip are still fishing and trying to make the most of conditions. The upper end of the river in Altmar has the least amount of runoff and leaves along with the best visibility. A few anglers are fishing the lower end of the river looking for some softer water along the edges, but the majority of anglers are focussing on the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville. For those anglers who are not comfortable with the current water level, some of the smaller local tributaries may be another option.
