water-temp Water Temp 48F

Daily Report

December 09 2021

On Wednesday we had calm conditions with the temperature reaching near 30 degrees in the afternoon. Late in the afternoon and during the evening we picked up another couple inches of lake effect snow. The water level remains high and over the last couple of days a few anglers have made the trip and are making the most of the current conditions. The drift boats are taking advantage of the higher water and continue to float the river on a daily basis. The majority of bank anglers are fishing the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville while focussing on the softer water along the edges and inside seams. If your not comforatble with the higher water conditions, some of the smaller local tributaries can provide another option.
