On Sunday we had scattered lake effect snow showers along with windy conditions and the temperature reached near 30 degrees. Over the weekend we didn't speak with many anglers, but the few anglers we spoke with had some success in the upper end of ther vier between Altmar and Pineville. Last night the temperature dropped back down into the single digits and despite having sunny conditions today the temperature will struggle to reach out of the teens. The water release at the dam is expected to be lowered as of this morning.
