On Thursday we had single digits in the morning and temp's reaching into the low 20's in the afternoon making it feel like the calm before the storm. The few anglers we spoke with reported having some action in the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville. As of this morning we were picking up snow from the storm that was moving through and is expected to continue throughout the day.
