Sunday was another day of record warm temperatures along with a few scattered showers which did not amount to much. Over the next couple of days the temperature will return to normal for this time of year along with dry conditions. Overall it was a good weekend and the majority of angles we spoke with reported getting into fish. The nice thing about this time of year is that a variety of techniques are working. What's most important is that recent warm weather has kept the water temperature up and the fish have been holding in the faster water. So the anglers that have figured this out and made the correct adjustments have been having the most success. Depending on the day, in the lower end of the river anglers have been getting into fish in the Ballpark area, Town Pool area, Longbridge/Staircase, Black Hole area and the DSR. In the upper end of the river anglers have been getting into fish in Upper & Lower Fly Zone, below the Altmar bridge, Wire Hole, Bovines, Trestle Pool area, Pineville and upper Sportsman.
