Daily Report

September 23 2023

Friday was another beautiful fall day, we started out in the mid 40's, but with blue skies and plenty of sunshine the temperature reached near 70 degrees in the afternoon. The majority of anglers we spoke with who fished the DSR reported that the fish movement had improved from the previous few days with mostly kings along with some cohos on the move. Hopefully this trend continues as those fish keep moving as they head upriver. Anglers in the mid to upper section of river reported fish holding in and around the Sportsman Hole, Pineville, Trestle Pool and Schoolhouse. The Upper & Lower Fly Fishing Areas continue to produce action on a daily basis with mostly kings and the occassional coho in the mix.
