Daily Report

Thursday was another challenging day with tough conditions and we really didn't need the heavy rain that came through early in the morning. Were still dealing with the spring runoff and with the recent rain keep an eye on the water levels. For the past several days the release from the dam has been 2200cfs and Pineville gauge as of this morning was around 3040cfs.  Overall not many anglers have been out with the high water conditions, but the few anglers who are around have been going with drift boat guides, the bank anglers have been trying some of the side channels and diversions on the main river or going to some of the smaller local tributaries. Either way it seemed everyone was trying to do the same thing and make the most of conditions.

Eggs: Steak-N-Eggs, Estaz eggs, steelie omelet, glo-bugs, sucker spawn.

Streamers: Crystal buggers, woolly buggers, zonkers, bunny leeches, egg sucking leeches.

Nymphs: Prince nymphs, copper john's, pheasant tails, wiggle stones, steelhead hammer, beadhead stones, rubber legged stones.
