water-temp Water Temp 40F

Daily Report

April 06 2025

On Saturday we had cloudy conditions along with scattered rain showers throughout the day and the temperature was in the mid 40's. Were still dealing with the spring runoff and with the recent rain keep an eye on the water levels. For the past several days the release from the dam has been 2200cfs and Pineville gauge as of this morning was around 2880cfs.  Overall not many anglers have been out with the high water conditions, but the few anglers who are around have been going with drift boat guides, the bank anglers have been trying some of the side channels and diversions on the main river or going to some of the smaller local tributaries. Either way it seemed everyone was trying to do the same thing and make the most of conditions.
