Daily Report

On Tuesday we had very high winds along with heavy lake effect snow squalls for most of the day. We did have some improvement with the water level, Tuesday afternoon the release from the dam was lowered and is now running 1500cfs and Pineville gauge is around 1970cfs. We got mixed reports from anglers, some groups decided not to fish in these conditions, while others said were here and were going to try and get out of the wind and make the most of conditions. Overall not many anglers have been out with the high water conditions, but the few anglers who are around have been going with drift boat guides, the bank anglers have been trying some of the side channels and diversions on the main river or going to some of the smaller local tributaries.

Eggs: Steak-N-Eggs, Estaz eggs, steelie omelet, glo-bugs, sucker spawn.

Streamers: Crystal buggers, woolly buggers, zonkers, bunny leeches, egg sucking leeches.

Nymphs: Prince nymphs, copper john's, pheasant tails, wiggle stones, steelhead hammer, beadhead stones, rubber legged stones.
