Daily Report

On Wednesday we finally got a change in the weather pattern that we've been stuck in for the past couple of weeks. In the morning we had some cooler temperatures along with scattered rain showers, but in the afternoon it cleared up with sunny conditions.  It was nice to finally get some rain even if it didn't amount to much after a long stretch of dry weather. It was another day of mixed reports from anglers depending on what section of river they fished. Some groups reported working hard while covering lots of water but ended up having a good day while others reported it was slow. Overall we currently have fish scattered in the river from top to bottom. In the upper end of the river anglers have reported kings holding in and around the deeper holes and larger runs, such as Upper Fly Zone, Lower Fly Zone, Schoolhouse Pool, Trestle Pool and Sportsman Pool. In the mid to lower end of the river depending on the day, anglers have reported fresh kings along with a few cohos on the move in areas such as the Ballpark, Town Pool, Longbridge/Staircase, Black Hole and the DSR. 

Current Shop hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00AM - 7:00PM. Friday & Saturday 7:00AM - 8:00PM. Sunday 7:00AM - 7:00PM.

Suggested patterns:

Eggs: estaz eggs, glo-bugs, sucker spawn.

Streamers: Egg sucking leeches, comets, woolly buggers.

Nymphs: estaz stones, rubber legged stones.
