Daily Report

Now that the summer season has started were into the slow time of the year for the river. You get a a handful of folks fishing the river, which is mostly local traffic, but the main focus is now on the lake fishing. Most of the out of state anglers are chasing trout on there home waters or chasing stripers along the coast, but once the fall run begins the anglers will return.The few anglers who are fishing the river at this point have been targeting smallmouth bass in the lower end of the river. Anglers are having the most success swinging woolly buggers and leeches with sinking leaders.
