At this point were at the end of our steelhead season and the majority of steelhead have returned to Lake Ontario. If your still looking for any last remaining steelhead before they head back to the lake, the lower end of the river would be your best bet. With the recent low water and warm weather conditions the smallmouth bass fishing has been very good in the lower end of the river, especailly at the DSR.
