On Tuesday we had heavy lake effect snow along with very windy conditions. With the heavy lake effect snow slush ice was a factor in the lower end of the river and did not clear. On Friday we finally had some improvement with the weather, the wind stopped blowing with fairly calm conditions and plenty of sunshine made it feel warmer then it actually was.
