Friday was a cold day despite having mostly sunny conditions. The early morning temperature was in the single digits and slowly climbed into the 20's late in the afternoon. On Thursday a narrow band of heavy lake effect snow stayed with us for most of the day and we picked up roughly a foot of new snow. The mild conditions were nice while they lasted and much appreciated but short lived. As we head through Thursday and into Friday, lake effect snow, cold temperatures and windy conditions are expected.
