Please check the waterline for the latest update. On Wednesday we had cloudy conditions with the temperature in the 30's, we did have some flurries but no accumulation. According to our local forecast the highest of snow totals from the nor'easter will be south and east of us. Our best chance of seeing measurable snow should be Thursday night into Friday and will be in the form of lake effect snow. Over the last couple of days the few anglers who are fishing have been getting into fish. Some of the drift boats guides are taking advantage of the high water and getting into fish on a daily basis. In the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville bank anglers have been getting into fish while dead drifting with nymphs or bottom bouncing with egg sacs. In the lower end of the river anglers have been getting into fish while float fishing with blue egg sacs, beads and pink worms. Anglers have also been having success at some of the smaller local tributaries.
