Daily Report

Monday was another nice day with blue skies, plenty of sunshine and the temperature reached near 50 degrees. The mild weather conditions are expected to continue over the next couple of days. Over the last few days we got mixed reports from anglers, some anglers are getting into fish, while others are having a tough time. Anglers staying in the motel have been getting into some fish in the Lower Fly Zone with black stoneflies and squirmy worms producing the best results. Just a reminder that the Upper Fly Zone will reopen on April 1st, which is this coming weekend and also happens to be Easter Sunday. The upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville continues to get the most fishing pressure on a daily basis. Mid week we will have less anglers but that will change as we head into the upcoming holiday weekend. With the low water the fish have been holding in and around the deeper holes and larger runs. Mid river continues to be a good choice if your willing to walk and looking for some solitude. In the lower end of the river some anglers are sill getting into a few fresh fish.
