Daily Report

Over the weekend we had hot and humid weather along with plenty of sunshine and the temperature reached into the 80's. We currently have fish spread out in the river from top to bottom. The last couple of days anglers have reported getting into fish in both the Upper & Lower Fly Zone, Trestle Pool, Sportsman Pool, Town Pool, DSR and the estuary. The lake has recently been calm and continues to produce plenty of action. With the recent hot weather the fish movement has slowed down from what we were seeing, the best action continues to be first thing in the morning and late in the day once the sun is off the water. Mid day with the bright sunny conditions the fish have been holding up in the deeper holes. Anglers stopping into the shop said they were very impressed with the amount of cohos that have already reached the hatchery.
