Daily Report

The shop and motel are now open and are preseason orders have started arriving for the season. We will extend the shop hours as we head into Labor Day weekend, starting Friday August 31st we will be opening at 6:00AM. Over the weekend the anglers we have staying in the motel were fishing in the lake, either with their own boat or on charters. The salmon fishing on the lake over the last few days has been very good and anglers are doing well. We did speak with a few anglers who fished the river over the weekend and did report landing some kings in the lower end of the river. Nothing major at this point, but enough fish for the few anglers who were around over the weekend. This is a positive sign for the start of the river season, also don't forget about the whitewater release for the upcoming Labor day weekend.
