Daily Report

Over the weekend we had cooler weather conditions with the temperature struggling to reach into the 50's. We currently have fish spread out in the river from top to bottom. The salmon are spawning in the gravel areas of the river and each day more steelhead are showing up. The upper section of river between Altmar and Pineville has been getting the most fishing pressure on a daily basis. If your willing to walk and looking for some solitude the mid to lower end of the river is a good choice. With plenty of salmon spawning, egg patterns have been very productive as well as pink and blue egg sacs.
