Daily Report
January 26 2019
On Friday the heavy lake effect snow that was forecasted for our area stayed north of us with Watertown getting close to 24 inches. We picked up a few inches early in the morning with very windy conditions and in the afternoon the temperature was in the mid 20's. The few anglers we spoke with reported getting into some fish in the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville. As of this morning the temperature was in the low teens along with sunny conditions. Slush ice was a factor in the lower end of the river. With the cold temperatures the fishable water will be in the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville.
