Daily Report

On Thursday we had cloudy conditions and the temperature reached into the mid 30's. The mild conditions are expected to continue for another day. Over the last couple of days the best reports we had came from anglers who fished the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville. Anglers are having success in the Lower Fly Zone, below the Altmar bridge, Schoolhouse Pool, Wire Hole, Upper & Lower Trestle, Refrigerator, Pineville and Sportsman Pool. Anglers who are fly fishing had success dead drifting with nymphs or single egg patterns. Anglers who are bottom bouncing or float fishing had the most success with blue or pink egg sacs, beads and pink worms.
