Daily Report

December 19 2019

On Wednesday a heavy band of lake effect snow moved through our area leaving behind roughly 8-10 inches of new snow. The temperature started out near 30 degrees in the morning and dropped throughout the day and by the evening it was in the teens. With the heavy lake effect snow showers slush ice was a factor in the lower end of the river. As of this morning the temperature was in the single digits and below zero with the wind chill factor. Most of the public access parking lots have been cleared and are in good shape. At this point the good news is that mild weather conditions are expected for the upcoming weekend.

The shop and motel will be closed on December 24th & 25th.

STORE HOURS:
