Daily Report

October 02 2020

During the week we finally got some much needed rain and the littel rain we got was very much appreciated. Over the last couple of days the majority of anglers we have spoken with have been catching fish and reported having a good week. The lower end of the river continues to be producing the most action but is also getting the most fishing pressure on a daily basis. Anglers reported getting into mostly kings along with some cohos in the Papermill, 81 Hole, Ballpark, Town Pool, Longbridge, Staircase, Black Hole and DSR. With the low water conditions the fish have been holding in the deeper holes but anglers have reported that the fish movement during the day has improved especially when it was raining. In the mid to upper end of the river anglers have reported fish holding in the deeper holes such as Schoolhouse Pool, Trestle Pool, Pineville, Ace in the Hole and Sportsman Pool.
