October 16 2022
After the water being up for the last few days, the water is now back down to the normal base flow for this time of year. On Saturday we had very windy conditions in the afternoon so leaves were a factor, especially for anglers in the lower end of the river. The anglers we spoke with who fished the upper end of the river between Altmar and Pineville reported having a good day with mostly kings. The anglers we spoke with who fished the Upper & Lower Fly Zones reported getting into a mix of kings and cohos.
