Daily Report

Over the weekend we had really nice weather with blue skies, plenty of sunshine and the temperature reached near 70 degrees. The nice weather conditions are expected to continue for another couple of days. For those anglers still looking for salmon, the gravel areas in the mid to upper section of river has been producing the best action. Anglers reported getting into salmon in the Upper Fly Zone, Ellis Cove, Upper & Lower Trestle, Pineville and Upper Sportsman. The majority of anglers in the lower end of the river have switched over from salmon and are now focussing on steelhead. Yesterday afternoon the anglers we spoke with who fished the DSR reported getting into some steelhead along with the occasional brown trout. The lower end of the DSR provided some of the best action in the afternoon.
