Over the last couple of days anglers who have been fishing the lower end of the river have been doing well while getting into fresh steelhead. Early Friday morning we got a few inches of lake effect snow, but by mid morning the band had moved south and we just had windy conditions the remainder of the day. Late last night we got another dusting of a few inches but nothing major. As of early this morning a heavy band of lake effect snow was set up just north of us in the Watertown area and it expected to stay up north for the remainder of the day. Check the water conditions for the latest update, last night the water level was increased so watch your step as you head to the water this morning.
