Daily Report
April 16 2023
Saturday was another day of summer like conditions with blue skies, plenty of sunshine and the temperature reached near 80 degrees. The dry and extremely mild weather conditions are expected to continue right through the weekend. Yesterday we got mixed reports from anglers, some groups got into fish, while others had a slow day. The drift boats are taking advantage of the higher water conditions and covering lots of water while getting into drop backs scattered throughout the river. We currently have drop backs scattered throughout the river from top to bottom. As the water temperature continues to rise, the drop backs generally hold in the faster water and are typically suspended in the waler column.
