On Wednesday we had single digits in the morning but it did reach into the 20's in the afternoon. Throughout the day we had scattered snow showers but no major accumulation. Anglers we have staying the motel reported having another good day in the upper end of the river. Anglers reported getting into a mix of colored up fish and a few fresh fish with dead drifting nymphs producing the most action. Anglers who were bottom bouncing or float fishing had the most success with egg sacs and beads. In the lower end of the river slush ice was a factor and did not clear. Mild conditions are expected for today.
