Daily Report
February 02 2018
Thursday was a really nice day with mostly sunny conditions and the temperature reached into the 40's. The few anglers we spoke with reported reported having a very good day in both the upper and lower end of the river. Anglers we have staying in the motel who fished the Lower Fly Zone reported doing well with nymphs producing the best results. Yesterday I fished the lower end of the river and landed several chrome fish. I covered lots of water while float fishing with egg sacs. In the morning most of the fish I landed were holding in the holes, as the temperature warmed up and the conditions were bright and sunny, I then caught most of my fish along the inside seams of the transition water. Much colder weather is expected for today along with lake effect snow as we head into the upcoming weekend.
