On Saturday the morning temperature was in the mid 20's and we picked up a couple inches of snow during the night. In the afternoon the temperature did reach into the 30's. On Thursday we had scattered rain showers in the morning and once the temperature dropped it turned into wet snow showers in the afternoon. No major accumulation but just enough to coat the ground white. On Monday we had mostly cloudy and dry conditions with the temperature in the 40's. The water level is still high, but it's much less then it was over the weekend and the conditions have improved. The water level is still high with significant runoff, but the release at the dam has dropped from the previous day and at least were heading in the right direction. With the recent heavy rain the Salmon River is currently running extremely high with significant runoff. At this point anglers are waiting for flows to return to a safe and fishable water level.
