On Tuesday we had cold conditions first thing in the morning with the temperature in the low 20's, but with plenty of sunshine the temperature reached into the 50's in the afternoon. Saturday was another mild day with the temperature reaching into the mid 40's along with a few scattered showers in the afternoon.  The majority of anglers we spoke with reported getting into fish throughout the river. The upper section of the river between Altmar and Pineville continues to get the most fishing pressure on a daily basis which is normal... read more.
