On Saturday we had mostly cloudy conditions with the wind finally calming down in the afternoon. The release from the dam was 750cfs and Pineville gauge is around 1010cfs. On Friday the temperature was around 30 degrees with scattered lake effect snow, but with the very high winds the feel like temperature was only in the teens.  We got just a couple inches of snow here at the shop with no major accumulation, the bulk of the higher amounts of lake effect snow were south and east of us.... read more.

We would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. The shop and motel will be closing early on Wednesday November 26th and Closed on Thanksgiving Day so everyone can spend time with family and friends for the holiday.
