With the recent heavy rain the Salmon River is currently running extremely high with significant runoff. At this point anglers are waiting for flows to return to a safe and fishable water level. Tuesday was another really nice fall day with above average temperatures reaching into the mid 60's along with sunny conditions. Anglers who had the most success in the lower end of the river were covering lots of water and focussing on transition water.
